Hunting Course

Affectionately known as the “Augusta of the North”, the Hunting Course at Slaley Hall opened for play in 1989, designed by Dave Thomas and has been a regular host of European and Senior Tour Events.

Thomas has masterfully created a brilliant design, measuring over 7,000 yards from the championship tees, such is the prestige of the par 72 course, it was England’s entry when bidding for the 2010 Ryder Cup. Strategically placed bunkers and pine tree lined fairways will punish stray shots, however the course offers a beautiful setting for golf with rhododendrons and cherry trees providing seasonal colour to your round. The course is kept in pristine condition throughout the years featuring beautiful manicured greens.

Follow in the footsteps of champions and experience a round to remember at this stunning golf course.
