Lakes Course

The Lakes Course at Belton Woods, as the name suggests features many water hazards and presents a demanding test of golf with long holes and thin fairways.

The par 72 Championship course was opened in 1991 and will present a real challenge for high handicappers as club selection and course management is key, careful planning on each shot is required to avoid the water which is a regular feature here. The 9th hole is over 600 yards and is one of the longest in Europe and the course regularly plays host to the Midlands PGA Championships, the oldest of the PGA tournaments.

There is also a great 9-hole par three course attached to the golf academy, perfect for a warm up to this tricky course.
