Telford Golf Club

Designed by John Harris and Brian Griffiths and offering golfers stunning views of the surrounding Shropshire countryside including the Severn Valley and the Ironbridge Gorge, a round at Telford Golf Club is simply a delightful experience.

The Par 72, 18 hole championship parkland layout was built in 1976, using a suspended water table system for the undulating greens, the same system employed at Augusta, home of the US Masters. In keeping with this, Telford Golf Club was also the scene of 1991 Masters winner Ian Woosnam's first Pro Tournament win. The course offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities, with tree-lined fairways and strategic water hazards providing the necessary challenge.

Excellent facilities are on offer to accompany a superb round of golf including chipping area, clubhouse with locker rooms, driving range, putting greens, practice bunker and club bar by the 18th green.
