Hellidon Golf Course

The 220 acres of landscaped grounds is the fantastic setting for the Hellidon Lakes golf course, an interesting and challenging layout featuring no less than 17 lakes awaiting stray shots.

Played as the Championship 18 holes, the Hellidon and the Lakes, the course plays to a par of 72, with an additional 9-hole Valley course completing the 27-hole setup. The course features some short par fours which can be reached with an accurate drive or wood from the tee, however water will await any misplaced shots, representing classic risk reward golf. A golfer’s nerve is definitely tested on the finishing par three, a shot directly over water to a target green in full view of the clubhouse. Greens are tricky and hard to read but benefit from an excellent irrigation system that gives playability all year round.
