Roman Road Course

The original resort course of Celtic Manor was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr and opened for play in 1995, being named after the original Roman Roads that cross through the course.

Although shorter in length than the Twenty Ten Courses at Celtic Manor, this is still a challenging course and invariably kept in superb condition, boasting stunning views of the surrounding valleys. The course has previously hosted the Wales Open in 2005 and 2006 and the Wales Senior Open as recently as 2015, a testament to the lasting quality of this course.

Having previously been ranked ‘the top inland course in Wales’ by Golf Monthly Magazine, this is a hugely memorable course. Many people consider buggy hire here for the undulating fairways.
