The Montgomerie
Designed by Ryder Cup legend Colin Montgomerie, the former winning player and captain has created a superb course, incorporating the opening and closing holes of the original Wentwood Hills golf course.
Opened in 2007 alongside the Twenty Ten Course, the course is the shortest of the trio at Celtic Manor but with some hills to negotiate it by no means plays shorter and a buggy is recommended. The course offers excellent views of the surrounding valleys and the holes of the neighbouring Twenty Ten Course.
Deep potted bunkers and natural hazards come into play throughout this course so accuracy is the key test of your skills. A superbly enjoyable course to match the premier resort of Wales.
