St Andrews - Duke's Course

Designed by five time open champion Peter Thompson and opened for play in 1995, The Dukes is St Andrews only non-links course and the “Melbourne Tiger” has created a tough and demanding heathland course, but accessible to all golfers thanks to five differing tee positions.

Sat overlooking the beautiful town of St Andrews, the course offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and coastline. Remodelling in 2006 by Tom Liddy has seen alterations to the bunkering presenting a traditional heathland course challenge and significantly improved drainage, meaning The Dukes can be played and enjoyed all year round.

The Dukes is considered a modern masterpiece and one of the most highly regarded heathland courses in the British Isles. The service and welcome from all the staff means The Dukes is firmly one of the most desirable courses to play when visiting “the home of golf”.
