Cardrona Golf Course

Designed by Dave Thomas, the man responsible for creating The Brabazon, Cardrona opened for play in 2001 and hosted both the Euro Pro Tour and European Challenge Tour not long after.

A long and testing course, Cardrona measures over 7000 yards from the medal tees although a choice of tee options makes this course manageable for golfers of all abilities. The par 72 layout boasts some stunning, dramatic views from each of its 18 holes, particularly those running alongside the River Tweed.

Dave Thomas has designed a real test with his signature bunkers featuring throughout the course and rough and water hazards punishing stray shots, accuracy is key here and if you plot your way carefully, a birdie can be your reward.
